CHINA'S TOMATO PLANTING COSTS RISE FOR 2021 SEASON

The World Tomato Processing Association recently released the first forecast for the 2021 World Tomato Processing Season, in which China is expected to produce 800,000 to 850,000 tons. The rising cost of planting tomatoes for the 2021 season will be driven by soaring grain prices, which have led to higher land rents and farmers' preference for pricier corn.
